A heaping plate of barbecue chicken, potato salad, and baked beans in your hand. Lounging in the sun, listening to a band play the music of Appalachia. Playing checkers with your buddies from the office.
A summertime dream? Nope. Just another day at work.
Knoxville-area faculty, staff, and retirees are invited to the Picnic on the Plaza, to be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, at the Humanities Amphitheater.
