Looking for tips to help you adopt more sustainable practices at home and work? Facilities Services is hosting a campus workshop, “Facilities Fundamentals: Everyday Sustainability for Home & Work,” from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, at the International House Great Room.

The event is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

The workshop will showcase everyday steps you can take to foster sustainability at your home and office.

Office of Sustainability Manager Preston Jacobsen will discuss how small but impactful steps can make a world of difference. Whether it’s helping your local environment or your wallet, sustainable actions have a larger impact than most realize.

Jacobsen also will cover current sustainable technologies, trends in the environmental world, and what the Office of Sustainability is doing to make UT a more sustainable place to live, learn, and work.

If you are interested in attending the workshop, RSVP here.
