Volunteer during the Sustainability Day of Service, stop by the Earth Day celebration, or even learn about careers in sustainability during a Career Services presentation.

Join the Conversation as Sexual Assault Awareness Month Kicks-Off

As Sexual Assault Awareness Month begins, the Center for Health Education and Wellness asks all Volunteers to pledge, reach out, and speak up about this important issue.

Join in the series of events dedicated to raising awareness of sexual assault on our campus. A full schedule can be found on the center’s website.

Celebrate Undergraduate Research during Annual Research Week

The Office of Undergraduate Research will host the sixth annual Research Week April 10 through 18 to celebrate and highlight undergraduate research and creative activities that take place across campus.

Stop by the various symposia or sit in on one of the many presentations, seminars, or workshops. A full schedule of events can be found on the Office of Undergraduate Research website.

Learn about International Women’s Rights at the Global Issues Conference

The International House will host a global issues conference highlighting international women’s rights inspired by the book Half the Sky. A screening of a documentary based on the book begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16, in the Black Cultural Center. The conference will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 17, at the International House.

Head to World’s Fair Park for an Annual UT Tradition, Volapalooza

volaCelebrate the last day of classes with live music by Lupe Fiasco with the Cold War Kids and the Bad Suns. The concert begins at 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 24, in World’s Fair Park.

Opted-in students are able to attend Volapalooza for free but will still need to request their ticket on the student tab of knoxvilletickets.com.

Students who did not opt in can purchase tickets for $35 on the student tab of knoxvilletickets.com.
