The final meeting of UT’s Sexual Assault and Misconduct Task Force will be held at noon on Thursday, February 12, in the University Center’s Shiloh Room.
Task force members encourage everyone with an interest in this issue to attend the final meeting. The goal is to submit a final draft of the policy to Chancellor Cheek by February 20.
The task force has held a series of meetings about the Interim Policy on Sexual Misconduct and Relationship Violence, which was introduced to the campus community last September.
Over the past several months, the task force has received feedback and questions from members of the campus community. Several changes have been made to the interim policy based on those suggestions and questions. Modifications have also been made to the policy document to improve its readability and make it easier for readers to find key information.
Members of the campus community who attend and would like to have input at the meeting can make comments during the public forum portion of the meeting as time permits.
