There are just eight days left in the state’s annual enrollment period for health, dental, vision, basic and term life, long-term care, optional special accident insurance, and flexible benefits. The open enrollment period for all state employees will close on Saturday, November 1.
Between now and November 1, employees may enroll in programs, change providers or options, add dependents or cancel coverage. No action is required if you are happy with your current benefit selections. The decisions you make during the enrollment period are effective January 1 through December 31, 2015.
Employees are asked to make any changes online through the state’s self service program. Instructions for using the system and login and password information were mailed to home addresses by the state’s benefit office in mid-September.

Flexible Benefit Deadline is November 1, but Registration is Separate from Partners for Health
November 1 is also the deadline to enroll in 2015 medical and dependent care accounts – also called flexible benefits. This program requires employees to sign up for the benefit each year, regardless of whether they are currently enrolled.
If you enrolled in the plan during 2014, visit HealthHub.com and use your current user ID and password to enroll. If you are not currently participating in the plan and want to enroll for 2015, go to HealthHub.com and use your personnel number and home zip code to register on the site.
