The College of Nursing will honor the history of the first forty years of nursing graduates and celebrate its current standing in its mission to transform health care at its annual NightinGala.

The event is at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, at the Holiday Inn in World’s Fair Park. The event is open to the public.

The cost is $125 per person. Register by visiting the Office of Alumni Affairs and Development or by calling the College of Nursing at 974-2755.

Alumni, faculty, and friends will enjoy food, drinks, and special entertainment by VOLume, a contemporary a cappella ensemble from the School of Music. Robin Wilhoit, co-anchor of WBIR’s Action 10 News, will serve as emcee. The evening will also feature the presentation of the Dr. Sylvia E. Hart Distinguished Alumni Award and the inaugural Volunteer Nurse Champion Award.

Funds from the dinner will support the efforts to educate the next generation of health care providers and leaders using state-of-the art technology and equipment. These resources will provide students with the highest quality educational experiences in safe environments before they enter into high-risk clinical situations.
