John LovettJohn A. Lovett, a candidate for dean of the College of Law, will lead a public forum from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, in College of Law Classroom 132.

Lovett is the De Van D. Daggett Jr. Distinguished Professor and the associate dean for faculty development and faculty academic affairs at the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. Before joining the Loyola faculty, he served as an associate for Liskow and Lewis, APLC in New Orleans from 1997 to 2002.

He has a law degree from Tulane University Law School, a master’s in creative writing from Indiana University, and a bachelor’s degree in English from Haverford College.

Each forum will be recorded. Once all candidates have completed their visits, archived video of the presentations will be posted on the Office of the Provost’s website. More information on the candidates and the ability to share anonymous feedback during the search can also be found on the website.
