The Office of Equity and Diversity and the Office of the General Counsel are hosting a webinar, “The University’s Interim Policy on Sexual Misconduct and Relationship Violence: What Employees Need to Know,” from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 4.
Jenny Richter, interim director of the Office of Equity and Diversity and Title IX coordinator for the campus, and Matthew Scoggins, assistant general counsel, will highlight key aspects of the new policy, including reporting obligations, standards of conduct, and options for complainants. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions about the university’s new policy during the webinar. You may view the webinar at noon next Thursday by logging on your Net ID. No advance registration is required.
In a letter sent last week, Chancellor Jimmy G. Cheek asked all faculty and staff to become familiar with the interim policy and the university’s new website, sexualassault.utk.edu.
