Supercomputer Research Sheds Light on Red Blood Cell Function in Spleen

Using the Darter supercomputer at UT’s National Institute of Computational Sciences, a team of researchers is modeling the biophysics of red blood cells to understand their behavior in the spleen, with the aim of finding cures to diseases.

Lake Loudoun Boulevard Narrowing to Two Lanes July 21-25

A section of Lake Loudoun Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in each direction from July 21 to July 25 as construction crews conduct utility work in the area. From 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. each day, utility work will reduce the street to one lane in each direction just north of the intersection
