From Friday, July 11, to Friday, July 25, the city of Knoxville will begin repaving work which will reduce several roads around campus to one lane. The work will take place on Melrose Place; Twenty-Second, Twenty-First, Mountcastle, and Nineteenth streets; and Lake, Caledonia, and Melrose avenues on the west side of campus. The section of Melrose Avenue directly in front of Hess Hall will not be affected.

Each road will have one lane open during the repaving. Staff lots will be accessible, but public on-street parking will not be available. The city will tow any unattended vehicles left in these areas during the repaving project.

Employees and students who normally park on Caledonia Avenue can park in the G-11 parking garage on Lake Avenue during the road work.
