Ancient GlassUT’s McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture will offer a free family fun day to showcase its temporary exhibit, Glass of the Ancient Mediterranean on Saturday, April 12.

The 1:30–4:30 p.m. event will take place in the museum lobby and the exhibit gallery.

The family fun day will include educational activities on ancient glass and mini-tours focused on the temporary exhibit.

All materials will be provided. The program is free and open to the public. Reservations are not necessary.

Glass of the Ancient Mediterranean will run through June 1.

The McClung Museum is located at 1327 Circle Park Drive. It is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sundays. Admission is free.

On weekends, free parking is available on Circle Park Drive on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additional parking information is available online.
