Based on student feedback, the Student@Tennessee newsletter has been renamed Vol Update. Produced by the Office of Communications and Marketing in partnership with Student Life, the Monday and Wednesday electronic newsletter has made great strides in building student readership.
A student survey sent earlier this semester solicited ideas for a catchier, more recognizable name. The newsletter has already implemented a few recommendations by adding more job and scholarship opportunities and emphasizing key dates and deadlines. Additional student feedback will be used to redesign Vol Update this summer with the goal of making it more interactive.
