The office of First-Year Studies is encouraging faculty to propose FYS 129 seminars for Fall 2014.

FYS 129 seminars are designed to connect students with UT faculty through an engaging topic early in their academic career. Maximum enrollment for these seminars is eighteen and students are encouraged to choose seminar titles or seminar faculty that could benefit their career goals and interests. Recent topics have included Harry Potter and Culture, Can Robots Have a Mind?, and Looking at Zero Dark Thirty: Story, History, Controversy. Course proposals for FYS 129 will be given priority consideration, if received by April 15th.

If you are interested in teaching either of these seminars please visit the First-Year Studies website.
