UT College of Law is thirty-fourth on the National Law Journal‘s most recent “Go-To Law Schools” list, which ranks the top fifty law schools by the percentage of 2013 graduates who landed jobs at the country’s largest law firms.

Molly Schaeffer, of Nashville, a senior majoring in mathematics, is the first recipient of the Brent L. and Rachel W. Trentham Endowed Scholarship through the VolsTeach program.
The second annual Humanities Center Lecture Series resumes March 10 with a scholar who will take a fresh look at a tumultuous but talented ancient Chinese emperor. Patricia Buckley Ebrey, a history professor at the University of Washington, will present “Emperor Huizong: Daoist, Poet, Painter, Captive” at 3:30 p.m. in the Black Cultural Center.
