John Eschenberg, federal director of the UPF project, spoke about the major National Nuclear Security Administration modernization and construction effort that will replace the decaying Manhattan Project era uranium building. Eschenberg noted in his lecture that these large, nuclear-grade, one-of-a-kind facilities bring many challenges and frequently attract criticism. To read more about the event, visit the Knoxville News Sentinel.
