Justin_AngsuwatJustin Angsuwat, a lead human resource business partner at Google, will be at UT on Thursday, February 27, to speak about Google and his career that led him there.

The event, free and open to the public, begins at 11:00 a.m. in the Cox Auditorium. It is hosted by UT’s Society of Human Resource Management.

Angsuwat’s event will focus on HR at Google and on his career in HR and consulting that led to his position at Google.

Before joining Google, Angsuwat led human capital consulting teams for multinational professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York City, working with Fortune 100 clients. Prior to that, he was the HR chief of staff at a Fortune 500 company in Australia.

Angsuwat has experience in leading HR strategy, large scale HR initiatives, and working with executive teams. He grew up in Australia, lived in Sweden and New York City, and now resides in San Francisco. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in human resource management and has served as the chair of the Society of Human Resource Management Young Professionals Board. Previously, Angsuwat was named the Australian Human Resources Rising Star of the Year by the Australian Human Resources Institute.
