David Greene, a research professor with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, was quoted in an NBC News article this week in regards to this weekend’s Super Bowl. He did not offer an opinion on the game’s likely outcome, but rather a comment on the desire of the National Football League to improve the environmental impact of the championship event.
