Denise Koessler, a doctoral student in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, was quoted in USA Today in regards to Sheryl Sandberg’s book Lean In For Graduates. Sandberg’s “Lean In” movement seeks to promote women’s leadership roles in business and technology fields. An update on Sandberg’s book is planned for release in April. Koessler and other students launched Systers: Women in EECS, the first Lean In Circle sub-community, in the fall of 2013. Sandberg’s updated edition will feature the UT group.
