The UT Police Department is investigating several recent motor vehicle thefts that have occurred on campus. They appear to be related, and all involve early- to mid-2000s models of GMC Sierras and Chevrolet Silverados.

Since January 17, three trucks have been stolen and there has been an attempted theft of a fourth truck.

The incidents occurred on the main campus and the Institute of Agriculture campus. No suspect information is available at this time.

UT Police is encouraging the campus community to check their vehicles often to make sure no attempted theft has occurred.
