WBIR-TV’s Robin Wilhoit sat down with Mark Dean, a professor in electrical engineering and computer science, who helped invent the first personal computer. Dean recently retired from IBM and returned to his alma mater, UT, to teach and conduct research. “This was on the path of where I wanted to go. I’m reaching that point of the arrow that I was to be. I’ve got some more things I want to get done, it’s a good time in academia to make those things happen,” he told Robin.
