Senior Lindsay Lee, of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, has been named a Rhodes scholar. She is one of thirty-two students selected in the nation and the seventh Rhodes scholar in UT history.
A Haslam scholar, Lindsay is a double major in mathematics and Spanish and has conducted research at the National Institute of Mathematical and Biological Synthesis, Vanderbilt Medical Center, and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
She is also a leader in the student body and serves as president of Campus Disability Advocates, where she helped organize Disability Awareness Week. Through the Rhodes scholarship, Lindsay will attend Oxford University next fall. She plans to pursue a Master of Philosophy in comparative social policy.
