Social Work Professor Charles Glisson recently was honored with a lifetime achievement award from the National Association of Social Workers Foundation for his work in helping children and young adults receive effective mental health treatment
Glisson, who established the Children’s Mental Health Services Research Center in the College of Social Work, received the 2013 Ruth Knee-Milton Wittman Award for Lifetime Achievement in Health and Mental Health Practice.
