Are you the creative type?  Would you like the chance for your artwork to be seen by thousands of people and used on a new website, T-shirts, hats, and other swag? How about if you could win a $500 Visa gift card as well?

The small animal oncology service at the College of Veterinary Medicine is asking for your help. They are designing new material and a web page to educate the general public about veterinary oncology and have come up with the tagline “Teaming up to sniff out cancer.”

Now, they need a great image to go with it and are calling on the campus community to help.

To get the creative juices flowing, they are holding a contest voted on by the public. Oncology faculty and staff will select the top choices and the general public will vote this summer to select the winner.

The winner will receive a $500 Visa gift card.

Contest entries should include:

  • A one- or two-color original design, that can also be  easily reproduced in black and white.
  • The design should include a dog and/or cat (other animals can be included, too).
  • A statement of agreement to the terms and conditions of entry. Download the statement here.

Entries must be submitted by mail or email by July 26, 2013 to:
