The Knoxville News Sentinel featured UT’s first graduates in the sustainability program, Nick Alderson and Alyssa Schroder. The program is an interdisciplinary degree, meaning students take courses that interest them in nearly any college as long as they focus on sustainability — the concept of living in a way that reduces society’s environmental impact and the use of natural resources.
