Soon, students will have a new tool to help them stay on track to an on-time graduation.
uTrack lays out a road map for each major so students can see which academic courses they must successfully complete—and when they must complete them—in order to graduate on time. The system will alert students if they get off track with their course work or grades. Off-track students will then meet with their advisor to plan how to catch up or, if necessary, change to a more achievable major.
uTrack will not affect current UT students. We’ll begin using the system in the fall for all first-time, first-year, full-time, degree-seeking students. It will begin tracking transfer students who enroll in the summer or fall of 2015.
