Author Joshua Robbins will be the guest speaker at Nosh n’ Chat on Wednesday, February 20. He will discuss his new book, Praise Nothing, during the free event, which will take place at 3:00 p.m. in 1210-1211 McClung Tower.
Nosh n’ Chats are informal and are a way to bring authors and UT faculty and students together to eat, hear a few poems, and ask questions. They are sponsored by the Creative Writing Program. Refreshments will be provided.
Robbins recently graduated with a doctorate in English from UT. He currently teaches literature and creative writing at the university. His book, Praise Nothing, is a collection of lyric poems that explore the hard truths surrounding faith and doubt in middle-class American suburbia and our broken connection to the transcendent.
