Save the date for your health!
The UT community can get plenty of good health information from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 3 in the in the Carolyn P. Brown Memorial University Center Ballroom at UT’s health fair.
The College of Nursing, the Student Health Center, and the UT Medical Center are hosting “HealthBeat 2013,” a free health fair for UT students, faculty, staff, retirees, and their families.
Several screenings and tests will be provided, and exhibition booths also will be set up with representatives from various healthcare organizations and UT departments providing information.
Participants will be able to obtain information about areas such as nutrition and weight management, diabetes, breast health, primary care, adult immunizations, ER trauma, genetic counseling and genetic testing, and general health.
Insurance is not required for any of the screenings or tests. Small fees will apply only to those screenings that require lab work.
