NIMBioS welcomes Ernest Brothers as associate director for diversity enhancement, a newly created leadership role at NIMBioS. Brothers is an assistant dean in the Graduate School, overseeing the Office of Graduate Training and Mentorship. His research interests include retention of underrepresented minorities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics at majority institutions; managing diversity; and cross-culture mentoring.
