As undergraduate enrollment in the College of Business Administration has grown exponentially, the university’s commitment to advising undergraduates in business has kept pace. As a result, a second business-dedicated career services consultant, Danny Pape, has joined UT Career Services.
Pape received his master’s degree in higher education administration from the University of Kansas and bachelor’s degree in finance from Missouri State University.
At UT, he will consult with students majoring in supply chain management, marketing, management, enterprise management, and human resources management. He will work with students in their career development, preparing them for internships and full-time employment, and work with employers and faculty members as part of the process.
Jessica Geist, the college’s other career consultant, will continue to consult with students majoring in accounting, economics, finance, and business analytics.
Pape has experience at all levels of student advising, from student career development through successful placement. At Kansas, he advised hundreds of students each year.
“I am very excited to be at the University of Tennessee and working with UT’s excellent business students, faculty, and staff,” Pape said.
