move-in volunteerMove-in day is Saturday, August 18, and it’s a busy—and exciting—day for students and parents, as well as our faculty and staff.

Residence halls open at 8:00 a.m. for women and 2:00 p.m. for men. For more information about housing, visit the University Housing website.

Volunteers from the community will be on hand to help unload cars, and university staff will be available to answer questions for students and their families.

Information tents will be set up around campus and UT Police officers will help direct traffic.

Motorists approaching campus on Neyland Drive from downtown Knoxville will see reduced speeds and adjusted lanes as work continues on the Henley Street Bridge. Access is limited to Andy Holt Avenue between Pat Head Summitt Street and Melrose Place, and to Pat Head Summitt Street between Andy Hold Avenue and Volunteer Boulevard.
