The YWCA this week will honor two UT employees for their contributions to the community.
Amy Cathey, executive director of the MBA program, and Jenny Moshak, associate director for sports medicine in the athletic department, will be lauded Thursday, August 16, during the YWCA’s Tribute to Women event at the Bijou Theatre. They are among eighteen finalists chosen from nine East Tennessee counties.
This year’s event emphasizes dedication to equality, empowerment, and transformation by all eighteen finalists. These themes reflect the mission of the YWCA, which is to eliminate racism, empower women, and create peace, justice, dignity, and freedom for all.
