In an oversaturated job market, five UT graduate students said winning a recent human resources competition gave them a competitive edge for the future. The team—Jeffrey Arnold of Middlesboro, Kentucky; Paresh Patel of London, England; Kate Reiger of Maryville; Sarah Higgins of Knoxville; and Qi Fu of Beijing, China—won a $3,000 cash prize and a trip in June to the national Human Resource Management Student Conference where they will be recognized for their achievement.
