A gathering of friends will take place at the Frank H. McClung Museum at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 6, in honor of curator Elaine Altman Evans who died this spring.
The museum’s Egyptian gallery will be named in her honor. Altman died March 17. She joined the McClung Museum in 1971 and was curator for forty-one years.
