The Knoxville News Sentinel covered UT’s “Thank A Giver,” or TAG, Day, held on Friday, April 20, which celebrated the culmination of the university’s capital campaign. The university offered its appreciation to donors who supported the school’s first-ever $1 billion campaign. More than $860 million went to the Knoxville campus, and included gifts to build or renovate multiple buildings. “Every academic area is impacted in some way,” said Scott Rabenold, vice chancellor for development and alumni affairs.
