Keep Our WOrld GreenMore than twenty environmental organizations from UT and the surrounding community will showcase their work at the Go Green Fair at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, on the Johnson-Ward Pedestrian Mall.

The fair is part of the campus’s Earth Month celebration.

Participating organizations include Keep Knoxville Beautiful, the East Tennessee Clean Fuels Coalition, the Student Life Sustainability Committee, the Southern Alliance of Clean Energy, Legacy Parks Foundation, and the UT Farmer’s Market.

Attendees will find out how to get more involved with these organizations, take home tips on going green, and much more.

In addition, tomorrow is bike-to-campus day. Anyone who cycles to campus can receive a free bike tune-up at the fair, courtesy of the UT Outdoor Program and the UT Bike Shop.

Now in its sixth year on campus, Earth Month promotes environmental awareness, conservation, and sustainable practices to the campus community.
