Chris Cherry, civil and environmental engineering assistant professor, was interviewed for University of Pennsylvania Wharton School’s publication Strategic Management about electric bikes. Cherry cites multiple reasons as to why e-bikes, once shunned in China, have now caught on. “With the car prices still out of reach for many, e-bikes have become the Cadillacs of the working class.
