UT’s Parking and Transit Services unit is conducting a campus transit study with the help of the Solstice Transportation Group. The study kicked off in early November and is intended to provide a comprehensive evaluation of the current campus transit system, The T, and recommendations to enhance the system in a cost-effective manner. Input is currently being collected from a broad cross section of campus community members including students, faculty, and staff.
Everyone is encouraged to stop by a transit study outreach event from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 21, on the first floor of the Carolyn M. Brown Memorial University Center near the Bookstore. To learn more or share your ideas, contact Mark Hairr, director of Parking and Transit Services, at mhairr@utk.edu or 974-6031.
