Join Us for Ayres Hall Ribbon-cutting and Employee Open House

Colleagues,

On, Monday, Jan. 10, we will celebrate the official re-opening of UT Knoxville’s iconic Ayres Hall. I would like to invite you to join Interim Dean Hap McSween and me for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. and afterward for light refreshments and self-guided tours of the building.

As you know, the building has been closed for a two-year renovation. Great efforts have been made to maintain the original grandeur of Ayres Hall, while bringing it into the 21^st century with technological enhancements and energy-efficient building practices, lighting and power. Ayres is expected to receive a LEED certification and will be the first building on campus to receive this designation.
