Beginning Monday, Dec. 13, utility work on campus will result in road closures and lane restrictions.
A portion of Chamique Holdsclaw Drive near the intersection with Lake Loudoun Boulevard will be closed for two weeks. Excavation in the center of the intersection will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction on Lake Loudoun Boulevard as Knoxville Utility Board (KUB) crews complete utility maintenance work.
Phillip Fulmer Way between Cumberland Avenue and the Gate 21 area of Neyland Stadium will experience occasional lane closures while KUB work crews excavate sewer access points along the road. Further excavations may be necessary and may require closing the street.
Estabrook Road also will be closed Dec. 13 – 17 while high-voltage electrical service is installed for Dougherty Engineering Building.
Construction crews will work to keep Lake Loudoun Boulevard and Phillip Fulmer Way open as much as possible for basketball games at Thompson-Boling Arena.
