UT employees soon should receive a letter generated from the State of Tennessee Benefits Administration Office to confirm their 2011 insurance coverage selections. The letter was mailed to each employee’s home address.
The University of Tennessee Black Cultural Programming Committee will host a Kwanzaa celebration at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at the Black Cultural Center. Kwanzaa is an African-American and Pan-African holiday which celebrates family, community and culture.

University of Tennessee, Knoxville Provost Susan Martin has appointed a search committee to help find a new dean for the College of Arts and Sciences. Earlier this fall, Bruce Bursten announced that he will return to the faculty at the end of the year after serving as dean for more than five years.
Spring semester 2011 will be a once-in-a-lifetime global immersion experience for 27 sophomores in the UT Knoxville College of Business Administration Global Leadership Scholars honors program. For three months, they will be studying, traveling and interning in England and Scotland.
