This year’s group insurance annual/open enrollment period ends on Friday, Oct. 15. All completed insurance enrollment forms must be received in the payroll office at P115 Andy Holt Tower by 5 p.m. on that day. Online enrollment through the Edison Self Service website at https://www.edison.tennessee.gov will continue until 11:59 p.m. on Friday.
If you have not already selected a new insurance plan and have not completed the paper or online enrollment process, please do so as soon as possible. If you do not select a new plan by close of business this Friday, you will be enrolled in the Standard PPO Plan with BlueCross BlueShield as the insurance carrier (for employees in the east and middle regions of the state). This default selection places you in the highest cost plan and limits you to in-network coverage from a provider participating in the BlueCross BlueShield Network S.
If you used the Edison Self Service enrollment feature on the web, please be sure you received a confirmation email from Edison. If you did not receive the confirmation email, you did not complete the process.
