Pat Head Summitt Street from Volunteer Boulevard to Johnny Majors Drive on the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, campus will be closed all day Wednesday, July 7, Thursday, July 8, and Friday, July 9.
The closure is due to underground utility work to support the construction of the Student Health Center.
Drivers can access Pat Head Summitt Street south of the closure via UT Drive, Johnny Majors Drive or Fraternity Park Drive. The segment of Pat Head Summitt Street north of the closure can be accessed via Volunteer Drive and Andy Holt Avenue.
Construction began on the 109,242-square-foot Student Health Center, situated at the corner of Volunteer Boulevard and Pat Head Summitt Street, on March 1. The completion date for the project is summer 2011.
