The third of four finalists for the job of director of the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, will participate in a public forum today.

The forum featuring Deborah Taylor Tate will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in rooms 204-205 at the Baker Center, 1640 Cumberland Ave. This reflects a location change.

Tate is a former FCC commissioner and is now a distinguished scholar at the Free State Foundation in Washington, D.C.

To view a live webcast of the forum this morning or watch an archived version later, go to http://bakercenter.utk.edu/main/search-finalists.php, follow the link and then click on the title.

The final forum, with Carl Pierce, W. Alllen Separk Distinguished Professor of Law at UT Knoxville and interim director of the Baker Center, will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. on May 19.
