Events, musical performances, discussions and film viewings will highlight the substantial impact women have made on history as UT Knoxville celebrates “Women’s HERstory Month” during March.
There is only one more week to nominate your favorite educator for a spot in the Educators Hall of Honor, housed in the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences at UT Knoxville. Nominations are due March 10.
Yajit Jain, a junior at Oak Ridge High School, beat out 30 other students from across the state to win the top spot at the 45th Tennessee Junior Science and Humanities Symposium held at UT Knoxville on Feb. 25. Students from Farragut High School took the other top two spots.
UT Knoxville will close the university’s bus transfer facility and an additional portion of Phillip Fulmer Way on Monday, March 8, the first day of Spring Break, to accommodate the current phase of renovations to Neyland Stadium. The transfer station and Phillip Fulmer Way will reopen prior to the start of the fall semester.
