UT Knoxville-area faculty and staff are invited to the annual Fall Festival, 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at TRECS. Hosted by Human Resources, this employee appreciation event draws several thousand faculty and staff each year.

Enjoy bingo, ice cream, music, vendors and door prizes. Lunch will be provided.

The event brings together employees from all corners of the Knoxville area, and relies on the help of many on- and off-campus volunteers. More than 25 local companies have contributed door prizes, games and more to this year’s festival, and more than 30 vendors will be on hand with give-aways. Attendees also will receive a gift from Men’s and Women’s Athletics.

Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. until the food is gone. Hamburgers, cole slaw, chips and assorted desserts will be on the menu. Veggie burgers will be available upon request.

As in years past, TRECS and the intramural fields will be teeming with activities. The intramural fields will be packed with games to play. A belly dancing demonstration will be held in TRECS at noon, followed by a yoga demonstration at 1 p.m. The always-competitive bingo games also begin at 1 p.m., lasting until 3 p.m.

A team of HR, Facilities Services and TRECS employees, lead by HR’s Carol Raxter, work for several months to pull together this event each year. For more info call 974-5151.
