The state of Tennessee’s sales tax holiday is being held this year on Friday, Aug. 7. On that day, computers costing less than $1,500 will be exempt from sales tax. The UT Bookstore is offering a special service allowing students, faculty and staff to pre-order computers at educational discounts and without sales tax.
