‘Dialogue,’ WUOT 91.9 FM’s monthly discussion program, has been named the Best Radio Talk Show in Tennessee for the third consecutive year by the Tennessee Associated Press Broadcasters (TAPB). WUOT airs the call-in talk show on the first Wednesday of every month from 1 to 2 p.m. from its studios at UT Knoxville.
After earning his Executive MBA from UT Knoxville in 2008 at the age of 64, Bill F. Breeding Jr., former mayor of Johnson City, Tenn., said he felt compelled to give back to the program. His gift is being used to support the Executive MBA program and the technology in the new James A. Haslam
Wayne T. Davis, dean of the College of Engineering at UT Knoxville has been elected vice chair and chair-elect of the American Society of Engineering Education’s (ASEE) Engineering Research Council for 2009-2010. Davis will serve a two-year term in the post.
In order to assist students with the May 2010 closing of the Sutherland Village university housing complex, a transition task force appointed by Vice Chancellor Tim Rogers has created an online resource center for students to locate up-to-date information on alternative housing options.
