Former UT Knoxville business professor and college dean C. Warren Neel has been named interim president of Lincoln Memorial University. Neel will work at LMU’s offices in downtown Knoxville three days a week and will remain in his post as executive director of the UT Knoxville College of Business Administration’s Corporate Governance Center.
Lynne Parker, a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and the research director of the department’s Distributed Intelligence Laboratory, will discuss “distributed intelligence” in multi-robot systems at the University Studies Program’s Centripetals Luncheon at noon on Wednesday, April 29.
A team of students from the College of Architecture and Design and UT’s Institute for a Secure and Sustainable Environment won top honors at the P3 Award Competition during the Environmental Protection Agency’s National Sustainable Design Expo held in Washington, D.C., this past weekend. A second UT Knoxville team received an honorable mention award.
