Do you know someone at UT Knoxville who goes the extra mile to advance environmental stewardship on campus? If so, then you can nominate that person by Thursday, April 2, for an Environmental Leadership Award.
Awards will be given on Earth Day, April 22, to one faculty or staff employee, one undergraduate student and one graduate student who demonstrate a strong and continuing commitment to campus environmental stewardship through education, public service and outreach.
Nominations must be submitted online at the Make Orange Green Web site, http://environment.utk.edu/nominate.html. Nominations will be judged by the Committee on the Campus Environment. Winners will receive a plaque and a “green” gift bag.
All regular, full-time and part-time UT Knoxville faculty, staff and students are eligible. Anyone may submit nominations. No candidate may nominate himself or herself.
Nominations must be submitted by April 2 to be considered for an award.
