Oak Ridge National Laboratory Director Thom Mason will speak at the UT Science Forum, noon Friday, March 6, in Thompson-Boling Arena dining rooms C and D.

Mason’s presentation is titled “Science for the Energy Challenge,” and will be followed by questions from the audience.

Mason’s talk is part of the UT Science Forum’s weekly programs on research being conducted at UT and ORNL, presented at the popular level, to help the public understand the frontiers of modern science, engineering and medicine, and to demonstrate the scope of research being conducted at ORNL and UT.

The talk is free and open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch or purchase one in the adjacent cafeteria.
